1) STATUS:   9-01-15 Comments to be addressed.

2) The following comments based upon the 2009 Uniform Plumbing Code must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the Uniform Plumbing Code or any federal, state or local regulations.

3) P0.1             Clarify Note #11 at the gas meter.

4) P1.1             Note #20 refers to detail 1/P3.0 which is actually on sheet P3.1.

5) P1.1             Note #21 refers to detail 2/P3.0 which is actually 15/P4.0.

6) Provide a kitchen and bar area food service equipment schedule that includes required utility connection sizes and loads.

7) P1.1 & P2.1           Provide enlarged kitchen and bar area plumbing plans.

8) P2.1             The 3/4" HWC tag at the NW corner of the pool is tagged to a NG line.

9) P2.1             Clarify the location of the control panel for SP-1 & SP-2.

10) 3/P3.1         A double check valve would be sufficient backflow protection for the domestic water service and the sprinkler system.

11) 7/P4.0         "At all points where fuel gas piping enters or leaves the ground, there shall be installed, above ground, an approved or listed fuel gas piping connector, capable of absorbing a six-inch displacement, in any direction, due to frost heave action." (Local amendment to IFGC 404.17) An additional flex connector is required at the fire pit.

12) 15/P4.0        The elevator sump is required to be at least 24" x 24" x 24" per MOA Policy L.02.

13) 7/M4.0         The 4" gas main (6,242 MBH @ 350'), (3,795 MBH @ 350') and the 1-1/2" main serving the griddle, range and fryer (432 MBH @ 204') appear to be undersized per UPC Table 12-8.

14) When the above comments have been addressed please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised plumbing pages to include clouded changes, engineers stamp and signature.                                 RE-SUBMITTALS ARE TO BE DIRECTED TO THE ATTENTION OF THE PERMIT MANAGER WITH A LETTER OF RESPONSE ADDRESSING EACH COMMENT.
