. C(1): Change order No. 2 consist of adding a ceiling that is 33' x 12' in size and weights about 5 PSF. The proposed ceiling is hang from the existing roof steel joists. About 8 point were selected for support wich will introduce a reaction of about 250 lbs. point loads. The ceiling has been designed for both gravity and seismic - sketches and supporting calculations are stamped and signed by an engineer registered in the state of Alaska. All members and connections appear adequate and the integrity of the existing trusses have been checked to be adequate. Approved, 8/11/04, JCRC.
