1) STATUS: 7-08-2019 Comments to be addressed. 8-22-2019 APPROVED FOR STRUCTURAL SETTING OF UNITS IN PLACE ONLY. COMMENTS TO BE ADDRESSED.

2) The following comments based upon the 2012 International Building, Mechanical and Fuel Gas Codes must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the IBC, IMC, IFGC or any federal, state or local regulations. RESOLVED 8-22-2019.

3) Provide structural, seismic and wind load calculations plus fastening details for AC-6 thru 12 and AC-14 (due to a weight increase of more than 10%) to include the engineers stamp and signature for structural review on a deferred submittal basis. RESOLVED 8-22-2019.

4) The existing weight for AC16 is shown on the "HVAC Unit Weights" schedule at 480# and 1600# on the roof reference plan. Please clarify. RESOLVED PER RE-SUBMITTAL RECEIVED 8-20-2019.

5) The existing weight for AC12 shown on the roof reference plan is 810# and the new weight as 1739#. With a 114% increase in weight, is there a substantial increase in CFM requiring revised ductwork inside the building? Please clarify. RESOLVED PER RE-SUBMITTAL RECEIVED 8-20-2019.

6) Provide the existing and new MBH gas inputs to the units and somehow clarify that the existing gas piping is still adequate. RESOLVED PER RE-SUBMITTAL RECEIVED 8-20-2019.

7) Provide the minimum outside air setting required for each AC unit per IMC 403. 8-22-2019 UNRESOLVED. PER MOA POLICY AG.39, THE MINIMUM FONT SIZE FOR SUBMITTED PLAN SETS IS 3/32". PROVIDE TWO (2) FULL SIZE COPIES OF SUBMITTED SHEET M6.1A TO MEET THAT REQUIREMENT (ONE FOR MOA REVIEW AND RECORDS AND ONE TO BE SENT TO THE FIELD.)

8) When the above comments have been addressed, please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised mechanical pages to include clouded changes, engineers stamp and signature. RE-SUBMITTALS ARE TO BE DIRECTED TO THE ATTENTION OF THE PERMIT MANAGER WITH A LETTER OF RESPONSE ADDRESSING EACH COMMENT. (23.10.104.8.1)
