1. Electrical Status: Correction required 6/10/2015.
2. The following comments based on the 2011 National Electrical Code (NEC) must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the NEC or any federal, state or local regulations.
3. CIRCUIT DIRECTORY OR CIRCUIT INDENTIFICATION ON FLOOR PLAN & PANEL SCHEDULES:
Sheet E-2 (Floor Plans and Panel Schedules). There are generic names for circuit breakers. Panel schedule P2 and floor plans should have same name / identification. For example; panel schedules have many circuits POS Cooler Dr heater, POS FZR S Door Heater, and many other circuits have same names. Note that circuits should be identified clearly on floor plans to match panel schedules and not two circuits should have same name / identifications. Refer to NEC 408.4.
4. AVAILABLE FAULT CURRENT:
Sheet E-2 (Field Marking - Available Fault Current). Verify that the available fault current is calculated and marked on the service equipment. NEC section 110.24 requires that service equipment be legibly marked in the field with maximum available fault current. The field markings shall include the date the fault current calculation was performed and be of sufficient durability to withstand the environment involved.
5. AMPERAGE INTERRUPTING AMPACITY:
Sheet E-2 (Line Diagram and Panel Schedule). Panel schedules H5 and P4 show no AIC rating. Provide detail AIC calculation if any panel AIC rating is exceeds 10,000A.
6. When the above comments have been addressed, please update the electrical plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three (3) sets of revised electrical pages to include clouded changes, electrical engineers stamp and signature.
