1st Review 1/28/2014 - Correction Required.  Provide written response to comments along with revised plans.

1.  Clarify the scope of the work.  Provide additional info as needed.  Does the scope consist of only installing a single pair of aluminim glass doors between the main store and tire shop?  Are there any changes to the previously approved, two pair of, exterior doors?  If no see comment below.  If yes provide additional info as the drawing and work description is not clear.

     The existing interior doors, noted in red as "Demo existing door and install new Big Door (this opening only)" appears to be a required egress from the main store thru the tire area.  What is meant by "New Big Door"?  Per IBC 1008.1.2 egress doors serving an occuppant load > 10 shall be side hinged swinging and per 1008.1.1 the maximum width of a swinging door leaf shall be 48 inches.  Verify that you have not exceeded this width as the overall door width as shown is 100 inches.  This can be done by stating the maximum width or dimensioning the width of each door leaf.

Also verify or provide that there is or will be an emergency light (EM) at the interior side of this door (main store side).  The photo does not show such but it is assumed that because this is an existing delayed egress door the EM is present.
