1.  Status: Architectural Corrections required.  01/10/14

 

2.  The following comments based on the 2009 International Building Code (IBC) and 2009 International Existing Building Code (IEBC) must be resolved before a permit is issued.  The plans and specifications do not permit the violation of any section of the IBC or any federal, state, or local regulations.

 

3.  Drawing (un-numbered), Tire Center Plan; The New Aluminum Storefront Doors appear to be provided with delayed egress in the direction heading from the main store thru the tire center and appear to be locked in the direction heading from the tire center into the main store.  Provide assurance that the Exit doors with the delayed egress locks, comply with all the requirements of IBC Section 1008.1.8.6.  Note that the maximum delay is 15 seconds with out prior writen approval from the Building Official.  Please submit the requested delay time.  01/10/14

 

4.  Drawing (un-numbered), Tire Center Plan; The New Aluminum Storefront Doors appear to be provided with delayed egress in the direction heading from the main store thru the tire center and appear to be locked in the direction heading from the tire center into the main store.  Provide assurance that the customers in the Tire Center have access to a restroom that is in compliance with IBC Chapter 29 requirements.  01/10/14
