. C(1): STATUS: 2-27-07 Comments to be addressed. 5-15-08 COMMENTS TO BE ADDRESSED. 5-22-08 APPROVED. C(2): The following comments based on the 2003 Uniform Plumbing Code must be resolved before a permit is issued. Theapproval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the Uniform plumbing Code or any federal, state or local regulations. RESOLVED 5-15-08. C(3): The Municipality of Anchorage Administrative Code 23.10.302.3 requires that plumbing plans have the stamp and signature of an Alaska Registered Professional Engineer. The plumbing review will not proceed until such plans have been provided. RESOLVED 5-15-08. C(4): M1.0 The following sections of the gas piping appear to be undersized per UPC TABLE 6.2(b): A) The 4" main coming directly off the meter (3530 MBH @ 500') B) The next section of the 4" main serving everything except the generator (2870 MBH @ 500') C) The 1" branch serving an existing gas unit heater (160 MBH @ 260') D) The 1" branch serving the other existing gas unit heater (160 MBH @ 425') 5-22-08 RESOLVED. THE ACTUAL LOAD ON THE TWO EXISTING UNIT HEATERS WAS LESS THAN ASSUMED AND THEREFORE THE PIPING FELL WITHIN ACCEPTABLE LIMITS PER TABLE 12-8 AS DID THE 4" MAIN DOWNSTREAM OF THE GENERATOR CONNECTION. PER TABLE 12-8 THE 4" MAIN COMING DIRECTLY OFF THE METER FEEDING 3370 MBH @ 500 FEET WOULD BE UNDERSIZED. HOWEVER, THAT SECTION OF PIPE WOULD ONLY BE ABOUT 2 FEET IN LENGTH ACCOUNTING FOR VERY LITTLE PRESSURE DROP. THE TOTAL BUILDING LOAD IS LESS THAN PREVIOUS AND T
