. The following comments based on the 2006 Uniform Plumbing Code must be resolved before a permit is issued. Theapproval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the Uniform plumbing Code or any federal, state or local regulations. RESOLVED 8-10-09. M4.1 A floor drain is requuired within 5 feet of the 3-compartment sink and the dishwasher per UPC 704.3 plus local amendment. RESOLVED PER RESUBMITTAL RECEIVED 7-30-09. 1/M6.1 CP-4 produces 5 GPM @ 10 ft hd. Going through 1/2" copper pipe this produces a velocity of about 8 FPS which exceeds the 5 FPS maximum allowed per UPC 610.12.1 for domestic hot water. Please address. RESOLVED PER RESUBMITTAL RECEIVED 7-30-09. M6.1 The last two lines of notes at the bottom of plan 2/M6.1 were cut off. Please clarify the gas pipe sizing contained within those notes. NEW 8-10-09 It appears that C/O #2 significantly changes from the original set (C/O #0) approved 2/13/07. Please clarify which of the original approved plumbing pages need to be superceeded/deleted. RESOLVED 10-19-09. DEFERRED TO THE CORE AND SHELL C/O. When the above comments have been addressed, please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised plumbing pages to include a written response to comments, clouded changes, engineers stamp and signature.
