. The following comments based on the 2006 Uniform Plumbing Code must be resolved before a permit is issued. M4.1 A floor drain is requuired within 5 feet of the 3-compartment sink and the dishwasher per UPC 704.3 plus local amendment. RESOLVED PER RESUBMITTAL RECEIVED 7-30-09. 1/M6.1 CP-4 produces 5 GPM @ 10 ft hd. Going through 1/2" copper pipe this produces a velocity of about 8 FPS which exceeds the 5 FPS maximum allowed per UPC 610.12.1 for domestic hot water. Please address. When the above comments have been addressed, please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised plumbing pages to include a written response to comments, clouded changes, engineers stamp and signature.
