Advisory Information:
C(1): The seismic evaluation does not include 25% of storage loads and sliding of the unit under the total base shear shall be used for design of anchorage. The spectral acceleration used is conservative, however the net effect will be a greater lateral force. Lateral forces shall be resisted by positive connections to the footing without friction effects between the structure and the footing.
