Advisory Information:
C(1): The ICC report does not reference seismic lateral loads and the L12 connection as detailed appears to be poorly suited to resist cyclic shear loads associated with sliding. The anchor as detailed appears to be suitable for overturning loads. With the unit elevated by the skids, loads will be placed on the anchor above the base of the anchor. The recommended edge distance for the 3/4" HY-150 anchoris greater than that specified by the manufacturer for the L12 anchor. An independent shear connection is recommended in each direction away from the slab corners.
