. C(1): The following comments based on the 2000 Uniform Plumbing Code must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the Uniform plumbing Code or any federal, state or local regulations. RESOLVED PER RESUBMITTAL RECEIVED 2-24-05. C(2): Most of the overflow roofdrains and associated piping are not required by code since there will be overflow scuppers at all but one of the roofdrain locations (see A2.4 and 6/A8.1). However, the new overflow roof drain at column lines B and 3E may be tied back into the roof drain piping if it is piped in accordance with MOA Handout #39 "Roof Overflow Drains". An overflow wall scupper is required. 3-10-05 UNRESOLVED. PER UPC 1101.11.2.1 THE ROOF AT COLUMN LINES B & 3E REQUIRES A PRIMARY AND SECONDARY ROOF DRAIN (RD-1 & ORD-1). THEY MAY BE TIED TOGETHER IN ACCORDANCE WITH MOA HANDOUT #39. 3-15-05 RESOLVED PER CONVERSATION WITH DAN SLOAN W/ USKH. THE ROOF DRAIN IS EXISTING AND SHOWN ON A2.4. THE ORD-1 WILL BE IN ADDITION TO THE ROOF DRAIN (RD-1).
