C(1): submit information for review. Deferred submittal for store front S. Martin 4/9/04 6-8-04 COMMENT NOT SATISFIED. The Architectural was approved on 4-9-04. At that time the Structural was turned down as there were no structural calculations or details for the store front. This was allowed to be submitted as a "deferred submittal" in accordance with IBC 106.3.4.2. The front sheet of each drawing set was stamped with a "Deferred Submittal Items" stamp with this written comment: "Submit to Structural new store front structural design and calcs sealed by a State of Ak Engineer." The purpose of a defered submittal is to allow a permit to be issued for a project, without certain items holding it up. Accordingly a permit is currently allowed on this project for everything except the store front. The engineering on the store front can be deferred. However, the store front windows cannot be installed until the engineering is submitted and approved. Structural Calculations and Detail
