. C(1): The following comments are based on the 2000 International Building Code (IBC) and must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the IBC or any federal, state or local regulations. C(2): Please see Building code data on cover sheet. FYI: per IBC 303.1 assembly uses intended for food and/or drink consumption (restaurants, taverns and bars) are considered an A-2 occupancy. The UBC did allow this occupancies to be classified as a B when the occupant load was 50 or less. This is not allowed in the IBC. Regardless, we accept the fact that an occupancy separation is not required.
