The approval of plans and specifications doesnot permit the violation of any section of the Uniform plumbing Code or any federal, state or local regulations. C(2): 3/M1.2: A drip pan is required per section 23.25.510.9. The drip pan must drain to an approved location such as the lav tail piece. The pressure relief can discharge into the drip pan. Due to potential scalding, the pressure relief cannot discharge into the lavatory. RESOLVED 5-22-03 PER REVISED PLANS.
