The following comments must be addressed before a permit can be issued. C(2): Reference Section 302.1.1.1 and Table 302.1.1 - Incidental Use Areas: Please complete the Architectural Code study (it is not appropriate to reference mechanical drawings for architectural features). Provide a 1 hour separation or provide an automatic fire-extinguishing system for the mechanical room per the referenced Table. When a sprinkler system is provided in lieu of the 1-hour separation, the incidental use area shall be separated by construction capable of resisting the passage of smoke. 6/26/03 CSK: This information is still needed. The floor/ceiling assembly has changed to concrete on steel deck. Please provide a reference (UL or GA or Table 719 Item number ) for the 1 hour floor/ceiling assembly. Coordinate with structural.
