. C(1): The following comments based on the 2000 International Mechanical Code must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the Uniform Mechanical Code or any federal, state or local regulations. C(2): A/M2.1.1, A/M2.1.2, A/M2.1.3, A/M2.1.4: Reference the 2 inch GS/GR piping routed through the exit (stair) enclosures. Since the piping does not serve the enclosure, it cannot penetrate the rated enclosure per IBC section 1005.3.4. RESOLVED 3-17-03 PER ENGINEER'S RESPONSE. SINCE THE PIPING SERVES THE JETWAYS IT MUST BE ROUTED THRU THE ENCLOSURE.
