1. Per MOA policy relocatable classrooms will note be occupied at wind speeds over 70-mph so tie downs have not typically been required. What is the intent of the tie downs shown in the details? Is it to allow occupancy for higher wind speeds or is it to just tie the buildings down to prevent sliding and/or overturning? Please clarify. If the intent is to allow occupation, calculations will need to be provided to verify these tie downs and the MOA policy should be modified to match the intent of ASD's use of the classrooms.
