1. The response to the RFI indicates this portion of the slab is a tie. Is this transferring seismic forces? If so ACI 318-14 section 25.4.10.2 does not permit the reduction of the development length for the reinforcement. Please verify the epoxy fully develops the bars into the existing slab if this is a seismic tie.
