2) The following comments based upon the 2012 International Building, Mechanical and Fuel Gas Codes must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the IBC, IMC, IFGC or any federal, state or local regulations.                 RESOLVED 3-04-2020.

3) Provide structural and seismic calculations plus fastening details for Hood 1 and the 50 gallon water heater to include the engineers stamp and signature for structural review on a deferred submittal basis.                    RESOLVED 3-04-2020.

4) M-2                 There is no grease duct in this project. Delete the paragraph.               RESOLVED PER RE-SUBMITTAL RECEIVED 2-27-2020.

5) M-2                 Plastic vent and domestic water piping are not permitted above the drop ceiling as this is a return air plenum per IMC 602.2.1. Please clarify.                            RESOLVED PER RE-SUBMITTAL RECEIVED 2-27-2020.

6) 1/M-5              With 2000 CFM supplied to the space and 2000 CFM return air to the existing AC unit, there is no provision for outside air. Please clarify the minimum outside air setting required for the AC unit.                        3-04-2020 UNRESOLVED. THE ISSUE WAS NOT MAKEUP AIR FOR THE HOOD, RATHER VENTILATION AIR FOR THE TENANT SPACE PER IMC 403. PROVIDE THE MINIMUM OUTSIDE AIR SETTING REQUIRED PER IMC 403 VIA THE EXISTING 8" x 8" OUTSIDE  AIR CONNECTION TO THE AC UNIT AND DECREASE THE RETURN AIR VOLUME ACCORDINGLY.                  RESOLVED PER RE-SUBMITTAL RECEIVED 3-9-2020.

7) When the above comments have been addressed, please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised mechanical pages to include clouded changes, engineers stamp and signature. RE-SUBMITTALS ARE TO BE DIRECTED TO THE ATTENTION OF THE PERMIT MANAGER WITH A LETTER OF RESPONSE ADDRESSING EACH COMMENT.
