1) STATUS: 2-24-2020 Comments to be addressed.                   3-04-2020 APPROVED.


2) The following comments based upon the 2012 Uniform Plumbing Codes must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the Uniform Plumbing Code or any federal, state or local regulations.                  RESOLVED 3-04-2020.


3) M-2                  The specified plastic piping (ABS, CPVC and PEX) may not be used in a return air plenum such as is the case on this project. (IMC 60602.2.1)                         RESOLVED PER RE-SUBMITTAL RECEIVED 2-27-2020.


4) M-2                  Under the water heater sequence of operation, the specified unit is electric and does not have a "burner" to be regulated.                 RESOLVED PER RE-SUBMITTAL RECEIVED 2-27-2020.


5) M-4                  The domestic water isometric drawing shown on detail 1/M-6 shows a reduced pressure backflow preventer which requires access between 12" and 5' AFF or provided with a permanent platform for installations over 5' (UPC 603.4.3). Please clarify the location on the floor plan.              RESOLVED PER RE-SUBMITTAL RECEIVED 2-27-2020.


6) M-6                  The waste riser diagram states to "Carry I.W. full size from ice maker to FSK with air gap" but the receiver is tagged as FD (floor drain). Please clarify.                      RESOLVED PER RE-SUBMITTAL RECEIVED 2-27-2020.


7) 1/M-6               The hub drain at the three compartment sink requires venting per UPC 1014.1.1.                 RESOLVED PER RE-SUBMITTAL RECEIVED 2-27-2020.


8) When the above comments have been addressed, please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised plumbing pages to include clouded changes, engineers stamp and signature. RE-SUBMITTALS ARE TO BE DIRECTED TO THE ATTENTION OF THE PERMIT MANAGER WITH A LETTER OF RESPONSE ADDRESSING EACH COMMENT.
