1) STATUS: 2-18-2020 Comments to be addressed.
2) The following comments based upon the 2012 International Building, Mechanical and Fuel Gas Codes must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the IBC, IMC, IFGC or any federal, state or local regulations.
3) Provide structural, seismic and wind load calculations as applicable, plus fastening details for B-9 thru 11, DHW-3 and BT-1 to include the engineers stamp and signature, for structural review on a deferred submittal basis.
4) M-3 Provide a gas piping schematic diagram to include the gas supply pressure, distance from the gas pressure regulator, branch pipe sizes, specifications for the pipe and fittings and all equipment loads downstream of the pressure regulator.
5) M-3 Provide a mechanical piping schematic diagram to include equipment, pipe sizes, boiler pressure relief, expansion tank and makeup water supply.
6) M-3 Existing pump CP-42 according to the schedule is serving B-4. Where and what is B-4?
7) M-3 Clarify if the boiler vents are natural draft or pressure stack.
8) M-4 The combustion air opening using the one opening method for 6,000 MBH would be about 45" x 45" per IFGC 304.6.2. Please clarify.
