07/19/2019 – Initial review complete. Comments issued.
1. CLIP CONECTIONS
The calculations appear to check the connection of the clips with (4) #12 screws and 1/4” diameter masonry screws. This is different than the specified connections on Sheet S201 which use (3) #14 screws and 3/8” masonry screws. Please clarify the connection design.
2. DEFERRED SUBMITTALS (NO RESPONSE REQUIRED)
The following items have been identified as deferred submittal items:
· Storefront Design
All deferred submittals must be sealed by a Professional Engineer licensed in the State of Alaska. Submittals must be reviewed for general conformance by the Registered Design Professional prior to submitting to Building Safety for review. Deferred submittals must be reviewed and approved by Building Safety prior to installation/construction.
