1) STATUS: 7-15-2019 Comments to be addressed.


2) The following comments based upon the 2012 International Building Code (IBC) must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the IBC or any federal, state or local regulations.


3) G001                             The currently adopted version of the N.E.C. is 2017.


4) A202                             The application of EIFS requires a third party special inspector. Provide a letter of qualifications from this third party inspector. (IBC 1704.2.1)


5) A202                             Provide structural, seismic and wind load calculations plus fastening details for the new storefront glazing assembly to include the engineers stamp and signature, for structural review on a deferred submittal basis.


6) A401                             Provide riser height and tread depth for the new stairs. (IBC 1009.7.2)


7) A501                             Provide the listing number for the 1 hour wall assembly "B1".


8) When the above comments have been addressed, please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised architectural pages to include clouded changes, architects stamp and signature.RE-SUBMITTALS ARE TO BE DIRECTED TO THE ATTENTION OF THE PERMIT MANAGER WITH ALETTER OF RESPONSE ADDRESSING EACH COMMENT.  (23.10.104.8.1)
