1) STATUS: 5-10-2019 Comments to be addressed.
2) The following comments based upon the 2012 International Building, Mechanical and Fuel Gas Codes must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the IBC, IMC, IFGC or any federal, state or local regulations.
3) Provide structural, seismic and wind load calculations as applicable plus fastening details for AS-1, GT-1, HD-1, MAU-1 and RTU-1 & 2 to include engineers stamp and signature, for structural review on a deferred submittal basis.
4) M001 The MAU-1 schedule is indicating propane fuel. Please clarify.
5) M001 The MAU-1 schedule indicates 2734 CFM and 306 MBH input while the Captiveaire drawings call for 2608 CFM and 292 MBH. Please clarify.
6) M001 The Kitchen Hood schedule is calling for the hood to see 3038 CFM and to be 13'-6" long requiring two outlets per IMC 507.15. Sheet M401 is only showing one outlet. The Captiveaire drawings are calling for the hood to see 3431 CFM and to be 15'-3" in length with two outlets. Please clarify.
7) M001 The KEF-1 kitchen exhaust fan schedule calls for 3038 CFM while the Captiveaire drawings call for 3431 CFM. Please clarify.
8) When the above comments have been addressed, please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised mechanical pages to include clouded changes, engineers stamp and signature.RE-SUBMITTALS ARE TO BE DIRECTED TO THE ATTENTION OF THE PERMIT MANAGER WITH ALETTER OF RESPONSE ADDRESSING EACH COMMENT.
