1. The following comments based on the 2014 National Electrical Code (NEC) must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the NEC or any federal, state or local regulations.

2.  CIRCUIT DIRECTORY OR CIRCUIT INDENTIFICATION ON FLOOR PLAN & PANEL SCHEDULES:

Sheet E1 (Panel Schedules and Floor Plans Circuit Identifications). Panel schedules have many circuits named recp lobby workstations, new washer/dryer combo, receptacle lobby counter and office, new recp break room counter. Please note that these circuits should be individually identified with their locations on floor plan and on the panel schedule according to NEC 408.4 for circuit identifications.

Response: Correction is provided on the plans. Approved

 

3. SERVICE LOAD CALCULATION:

Sheet E1 (Panel D Load Calculation). The plans show calculation “existing is 200 Amps and per panel schedule calculation is 103.5 Amps.

Please provide the calculations for feeder loads for the existing building as required by NEC Section 220.87.

Response: Correction need to be according to NEC Section 220.87. Correction

 

4.  When the above comments have been addressed, please update the electrical plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three (3) sets of revised electrical pages to include clouded changes, electrical engineers stamp and signature.
