The following comments based upon the 2012 International Building Code (IBC) must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the IBC or any federal, state or local regulations.
2. EXIT THRU TRASH STAGING AREA:
Sheet G003. Please verify that the exit path remain open. Provide on the plan the layout that ensure the exit path will remain open.
3. CODE ANALYSIS (AREA AND HEIGHT):
Sheet G-003. (Occupant Load). It the stated in the code study that the total area allowed is 28,500. Do you mean 10,500?
4. EXHAUST HOOD:
Sheet A101. In the mechanical section, it state that the exhaust hood in the architectural plans. Please show the exhaust hood details in the architectural plans.
5. WALK-IN COOLERS AND FREESERS
Sheets A101 (Walk-in Cooler and Freezer). Please verify that the cooler wall constructions comply with thermal barrier requirement stated in IBC Section 2603.4.1.3.
6. DOOR HARDWERE:
Sheets A102 and A601. Please verify that doors # 101, 103, 103A, 142, 142A are provided with panic hardware.
7. When the above comments have been addressed, please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised architectural pages to include clouded changes, engineers stamp and signature.
