1) STATUS: 6-01-2018 Comments to be addressed.

2) The following comments based upon the 2012 International Building, Mechanical and Fuel Gas Codes must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the IBC, IMC, IFGC or any federal, state or local regulations. 

3) Provide structural and seismic calculations plus fastening details for CH-1 & 2, CT-1 & 2, CWP-1 & 2, 8" Spirotherm Air Separator, PCHP-1 & 2 and the Relocated Water storage Tank to include the engineers stamp and signature. Since the majority of the mechanical work also requires structural approval, the mechanical will not be approved until structural approval has been obtained.

4) M3.01                   Clarify the demolition location for the "New Opening in Existing CMU Wall at the Chiller Room" with reference to the detail shown on S2. 

5) M3.02                   Provide a detailed centerline section through the 8" Emergency CWS pipe up into the EF-CH1 enclosure to include penetration of the concrete pad and below grade 6" CMU exterior wall.

6) M3.02                   Provide architectural details for the EF-CH1 concrete pad, 8" curb, underground duct enclosure and duct penetration of the 6" CMU below grade exterior wall.

7) M3.02                   Clarify the makeup air path for the chiller room when EF-CH1 is in operation.

5) When the above comments have been addressed, please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised mechanical pages to include clouded changes, engineers stamp and signature. RE-SUBMITTALS ARE TO BE DIRECTED TO THE ATTENTION OF THE PERMIT MANAGER WITH A LETTER OF RESPONSE ADDRESSING EACH COMMENT.   (23.10.104.8.1)
