1. Reference page 61 of the calculations. Please justify the used of R=4 for the concrete shear walls. IEBC section 301.1.4.1(1) requires structural systems to be classified as Ordinary unless it can be shown that the system meets the requirements of "Intermediate" or "Special."

2. Reference the calculations. The design of the floor and wall infills could not be located. Please provide. Please note that this may include checks of the jams and headers in the existing opening. Reference the Anchorage Administrative Code (AAC) section 23.10.104.8.

3. Reference details 6 and 10 on sheet S-501. Please give maximum opening sizes the details can be applied to. Reference AAC section 23.10.104.8.

4. Please provide a letter from the Owner indicating who they are hiring to provide special inspectors for this project. The special inspectors must be licensed by MOA in the types of inspections to be performed. Reference IBC section 1703.1.
