1. The following comments based on
the 2014 National Electrical Code (NEC) must be resolved before a permit is
issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation
of any section of the NEC or any federal, state or local regulations.

2.  CIRCUIT DIRECTORY OR CIRCUIT INDENTIFICATION
ON FLOOR PLAN & PANEL SCHEDULES:

Sheet E05.01 (Panel
Schedules and Floor Plans Circuit Identifications). Panel schedules have many
circuits named BBW cabinet LTG, Sales center LGT, BBW cashwrap REC. Please note
that these circuits should be individually identified with their locations on
floor plans and on the panel schedules according to NEC 408.4 for circuit
identifications.

3.  TRANSFORMERS MOUNTING (STRUCTURAL REVIEW)

Sheet E05.01 (Transformers Structural Seismic
Calculations). Is the transformer part of the listed switchgear?

Provide structural, seismic calculations and fastening
details for the transformer including engineers stamp and signature, for
structural review on a deferred submittal basis. Refer
to Anchorage
Administrative Code AAC 23.10.104.8.1. Please address.

4.  TRANSFORMER
DISCONNECTING MEANS:

Sheet E05.01 (Transformers disconnecting means
location). Is the transformer part of the listed switchgear?

The disconnecting means should be within sight
and readily accessible as required by NEC Section 629.51(c). Please address.

5.  AMPERAGE INTERRUPTING CAPACITY:

Sheet E05.01 (Panel Schedule Amperage
Interrupting Capacity). Panel schedules AIC are 65,000 Amps. Please provide
detail AIC calculation for any panel has AIC rating higher than 10,000A.

6. AVAILABLE FAULT CURRENT:

Sheet E05.01 (Available Fault Current
- Panel Schedules and Line Diagram). Provide calculation for the available
fault current at the main service equipment. NEC Section 110.24 requires that
service equipment be legibly marked in the field with maximum available fault
current. Please address.

7. When the above comments have been addressed,
please update the electrical plans at the MOA

Plans Review Office with three (3) sets of
revised electrical pages to include clouded changes, electrical engineers stamp
and signature.
