1) STATUS: 10-27-2017 Comments to be addressed.


2) The following comments based upon the 2012 International Building Code (IBC) must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the IBC or any federal, state or local regulations.


3) A00.0 Key Plan                             This installation is apparently at ground level and this major part of the Dimond Center Mall has no basement. Please clarify "Level 2 of 3".


4) A00.0 Construction Type              This major part of the Dimond Center Mall has been determined to be Type "III-B" construction. (For future reference the Tower at the south east part of the mall is Type "I-A" construction.)


5) A00.0 Travel Distance                   The maximum allowable travel distance for an "M" occupancy with sprinklers is 250 feet per IBC Table 1016.2.


6) When the above comments have been addressed, please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised architectural pages to include clouded changes, architects stamp and signature. RE-SUBMITTALS ARE TO BE DIRECTED TO THE ATTENTION OF THE PERMIT MANAGER WITH A LETTER OF RESPONSE ADDRESSING EACH COMMENT.   (23.10.104.8.1)
