The code study indicates that the project is a level 1 alteration to chapter 7 of the IEBC.  However, the plans Drawing I-114 indicates the removal of several connector doors between rooms on the 6th and 7th floors.  Thus, for at least for the  6th and 7th floors, the project is a level 2 alteration to chapter 8 of the IEBC to include  both chapter 7 and 8 of the IEBC.
