2) The following comments based upon the 2012 International Building, Mechanical and Fuel Gas Codes must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the IBC, IMC, IFGC or any federal, state or local regulations.             RESOLVED 8-01-2017.


3) M2.1 thru M2.3                   Provide details for the GS & GR to the manifolds. (Pipe material, utilidor or buried, how deep, pipe insulation?)                7-01-2017 UNRESOLVED. THE RESPONSE INFORMATION MUST BE ADDED WITHIN THE PLAN SET.             RESOLVED 10-13-2017.


4) M2.4                                   Boilers shall be mounted on floors of non-combustible construction, unless listed for mounting on combustible flooring (IMC 1004.5). Please clarify.            RESOLVED PER RE-SUBMITTAL RECEIVED 7-27-2017.


5) M4.0                                   A note requires the boiler condensate to a drywell drain (see civil). The civil drawings did not appear to have any drywell information. Please clarify.            8-01-2017 UNRESOLVED. THERE ARE NO REVISED CIVIL DRAWINGS WITHIN THE PLAN SET.           8-23-2017 THIS COMMENT DEFERRED TO ITEM #10 BELOW.

9) M4.1                                   Provide tubing manufacturer's details showing recommended insulation, fastening to cement reinforcing material and control joint (CJ) passage.             RESOLVED PER RE-SUBMITTAL RECEIVED 7-27-2017.


10) 8-23-2017                        Due to the unusual nature of this project, the engineering services manager and the chief plumbing and mechanical inspector have made the following determinations. The use of a drywell will not be permitted, a floor drain will not be required or permitted and the boilers allowed shall be non-condensing. Additionally, provisions shall be made and expressed on the plans to allow drain down and capture of the boiler fluid to allow for servicing or repairs. Please revise the plans accordingly.              RESOLVED PER ALTERNATE MEANS AND METHODS REQUEST UNDER C/O #X17-1912 APPROVED ON 10-13-2017.


11) When the above comments have been addressed, please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised mechanical pages to include clouded changes, engineers stamp and signature. RE-SUBMITTALS ARE TO BE DIRECTED TO THE ATTENTION OF THE PERMIT MANAGER WITH A LETTER OF RESPONSE ADDRESSING EACH COMMENT.   (23.10.104.8.1)               RESOLVED 10-13-2017.
