2) The following comments based upon the 2012 Uniform Plumbing Code must be resolved before a permit is issued. 3) M2.4                     Boiler rooms are required to have floor drains per IMC 1004.6.           RESOLVED PER RE-SUBMITTAL RECEIVED 7-27-2017.           8-23-2017 THIS COMMENT DEFERRED TO ITEM #6 BELOW.

4) M2.4                     The floor drains shall be trapped and vented and connected to existing sanitary sewers within 200 feet per UPC 713.4. (Ref sheet C1.1)              8-01-2017 UNRESOLVED. TWO OF THE THREE BOILER SHEDS HAVE EXISTING SANITARY SEWER LINES WITHIN 20 FEET PER CIVIL SHEETS C1.2 AND C1.3. THE THIRD BOILER SHED MAY HAVE THE NEUTRALIZED CONDENSATE GO DIRECTLY TO A DRYWELL; HOWEVER, THE BOILER CONTAINING GLYCOL MUST HAVE ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS TO ALLEVIATE THE RISK OF POLLUTING THE GROUND WATER TABLE. PROVIDE A BOILER DRIP PAN WITH AN OVERFLOW DRAIN, PIPED TO THE FLOOR DRAIN THAT IS CONNECTED TO A DRY WELL, TO CONTAIN SMALL LEAKS AND PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE RELEASES WITH THE HOPE THAT PERIODIC MAINTENANCE WILL SEE AND FIX THE PROBLEM BEFORE IT GETS OUT OF HAND.                8-23-2017 THIS COMMENT DEFERRED TO ITEM #6 BELOW.

5)1/M4.1                   Where is the source of the CW makeup?            RESOLVED PER RE-SUBMITTAL RECEIVED 7-27-2017.

6) 8-23-2017            Due to the unusual nature of this project, the engineering services manager and the chief plumbing and mechanical inspector have made the following determinations. The use of a drywell will not be permitted, a floor drain will not be required or permitted and the boilers allowed shall be non-condensing. Additionally, provisions shall be made and expressed on the plans to allow drain down and capture of the boiler fluid to allow for servicing or repairs. Please revise the plans accordingly.             RESOLVED PER APPROVED ALTERNATE MEANS AND METHODS REQUESR UNDER C/O #X17-1912 on 10-13-2017.

7) When the above comments have been addressed, please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised plumbing pages to include clouded changes, engineers stamp and signature. RE-SUBMITTALS ARE TO BE DIRECTED TO THE ATTENTION OF THE PERMIT MANAGER WITH A LETTER OF RESPONSE ADDRESSING EACH COMMENT.   (23.10.104.8.1)              RESOLVED 10-13-2017.
