ADVISORY - Refer to Sheet G003. Please note that fire systems (sprinkler/standpipe, FDC, alarm) require separate fire systems permits. Review of the fire alarm plans submitted under this cover is cursory for general requirements.

Please clarify the exiting. Please also note the discrepancy in door labels between Sheets A052 and A101a for the patio door.

Refer to Sheets A020, A052, A572. The code study notes the construction type as Type V-A. The patio and trellis framing do not show any fire-resistive construction. Please clarify the protection of the primary and secondary combustible construction.

5/15/17 - Not resolved. The response notes the area will be covered with sprinklers. It appears that the intent is to offset the fire-resistive construction with the sprinkler coverage. Please note that this trade-off is only applicable when the sprinkler system is not used to address other provisions or area increase. Sheet G020 shows that both area and height increased for sprinklers are taken. As such, 1-hour fire-resistive construction is required. Please clarify design.
