The MOA GIS Flood Hazard Layer shows this area to be outside of the FEMA mapped 1
percent annual chance flood SFHA. sme

At the time of mapping this area was not included and is show as Elmendorf AFB. That is no longer the case. The Flood Insurance Study determined the Coastal BFE in this area is 19.0 feet MSL. Due to sea level rise it may be higher today. I recommend all critical infrastructure be placed at 20.0 feet msl or higher. sme
