1.  PERMIT STATUS

6-8-2017 – Change order reviewed. Comments issued.

2.  Advisory Comment (no response required):  This review is based on the requirements of
the 2012 Anchorage Administrative Code (AMC 23.10), 2012 International Building
Code (IBC), and all adopted references thereto as amended by MOA.  The following comments must be addressed
before a permit can be issued. The approval of plans and specifications does
not permit the violation of the codes, or any federal, state, or local
regulations.

Please submit a
written explanation for how each comment has been addressed.

3.  EXISING 2nd FLOOR BEAM REVISION
NEAR STAIR?

A part of this change order seems to be about moving a stair
westward so it will be closer to the elevator pit.  And yet, existing 2
nd floor beams
seem to have been removed with resulting changes in distance between existing
beams.  Please explain.  Is there something I am missing?

4.  ELEVATOR RAIL AND ATTACHMENTS

I saw no calculations for the elevator rail and its attachments
to support the new details.  Please
provide calculations showing complete code-compliant load paths for gravity and
seismic restraint of elevator design loads.
