1) STATUS: 3-06-2017 Provide mechanical plans that are signed and sealed by the engineer of record. Comments to be addressed.                4-18-2017 COMMENTS TO BE ADDRESSED.     5-22-2017 APPROVED.


2) The following comments based upon the 2012 International Building, Mechanical and Fuel Gas Codes must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the IBC, IMC, IFGC or any federal, state or local regulations.           RESOLVED 4-18-2017.


3) Provide structural, seismic and wind load calculations, as applicable, plus fastening details for the Rooftop Condensing Units, MAU-1 & 2, Air Compressor and the Kitchen Hoods  to include the engineers stamp and signature, for structural review on a deferred submittal basis.             RESOLVED 4-18-2017.


4) MP0.1b               The rooftop ducting requires a minimum of "R-8" insulation per IECC C403.2.7. Provide clarification.       4-18-2017 UNRESOLVED. THE PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS WERE NOT INCLUDED IN THE RE-SUBMITTAL PACKAGE.           RESOLVED PER RE-SUBMITTAL RECEIVED 5-15-2017.


5) M1.1b                  The kitchen drop ceilings are at 8'-2". The top of the Type I kitchen hoods are all over 9"-0". Such hoods that penetrate a ceiling shall be enclosed within a shaft going up to the roof per IMC 507.10 and 506.3.11.            4-18-2017 UNRESOLVED. ALL OF THE HOODS ARE MISSING AN INDICATION OF 1-HOUR INSULATION AT ONE OR BOTH ENDS. THE UTILITY CABINETS ARE ALSO NOT INDICATING THE REFERENCED INSULATION.                 RESOLVED PER RE-SUBMITTAL RECEIVED 5-15-2017.


6) 1/P4.2                  The high efficiency natural gas water heaters require the condensate to be processed through a condensate neutralizer per IFGC 307.2 plus local amendment.        RESOLVED PER RE-SUBMITTAL RECEIVED 4-10-2017.


7) When the above comments have been addressed, please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised mechanical pages to include clouded changes, engineers stamp and signature. RE-SUBMITTALS ARE TO BE DIRECTED TO THE ATTENTION OF THE PERMIT MANAGER WITH A LETTER OF RESPONSE ADDRESSING EACH COMMENT.   (23.10.104.8.1)            RESOLVED 5-22-2017.
