CONTRACTOR TO PAY FOR INSPECTIONS- CONTRACTOR PAID FOR 10 INSPECTIONS AND STORM WATER FEES ON 7-19-17-SM/ CHANGE ORDER ISSUED TO CCE + ELECTRICAL AS PARTIAL PERMIT-GJS
Comments 2/8/17 submittal;
1. Provide haul route for import and export of material to include identifying import and export location, hours of operation and emergency contact.
2. Provide resolution and response to all comments provided by the Municipality Traffic Signals and Safety groups in regards to proposed site modifications that will be sent in a separate format. The critical items for resolution with Traffic department are as follows;
a. Provide signal pole certifications for the proposed modifications to existing poles 1 and 3 at the Dimond Center Drive/ Dimond Blvd intersection
b. Provide turning movements for WB-67 for all left turning movements for NB and SB Left turns.
c. Removal of cross walk on West approach to the Dimond Center Drive/Dimond intersection to include any new curb ramps, signal poles and signal heads associated with crosswalk.
d. Relocation of bus stop on Old Seward south of 88th to reduce impact to existing dual left turns lanes from Shopping center to SB old Seward highway
3. Remove all scope of work related to new 6 foot sidewalk located at Sta. 91 +50 to the Northwest corner of existing parking lot. The municipal traffic engineer has indicated that the department will not support a sidewalk at this location.
4. Modify scope work to existing end islands locate between station 38 + 93 and 39 +24 (North Side of Dimond Center Hotel). These islands should be enlarged to prevent sidewalks from being impacted by potential parking of vehicles. New crosswalk striping is insufficient to prevent parking in the existing spaces and it appears insufficient area to provide no parking signage.
5. Adjust location and orientation of curb ramps for the new bus stops on the east and west side of 88th avenue at approximately Sta. 49 +00 so that new crosswalk is not located in the exit drive aisle from parking row. Curb ramp should be oriented to the south and east bus stop shifted north to align curb ramps.
6. Provide curb end islands per 21.07.090 H 8 at new crosswalk location at south access road from new pedestrian walkway from new bus stop. Current scope is to remove existing end island and restripe. Scope should include new end islands on both sides of the north end of this median.
