1) STATUS: 9-26-2016 Comments to be addressed.


2) The following comments based upon the 2012 Uniform Plumbing Code must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the Uniform Plumbing Code or any federal, state or local regulations. 


3) 1/M2.0              The 1-1/2" V serving P-1A, P-4 & FD-1 is undersized per UPC Table 703.2 note #3.


4)  M2.1                With reference to note #3, clarify how a second floor waste line that is located 15 feet AFF can serve the plumbing fixtures on that floor.


5) M2.1                 Clarify on the plans that the vent piping from the first floor bathrooms is not to pass through nor penetrate the membrane of the rated assemblies surrounding the stairwell. (IBC 1022.5)


6) M2.2                 The gas branch that provides 3,450 MBH to the second floor tenant lease space is missing (Ref 1/M3.1).


7) 5/M3.1              When discharging to the exterior of a building the discharge point shall be labeled "Elevator Pit Discharge" per MOA policy L.02.


8) 1/M3.1              Clarify the 2# gas supply branch sizes serving RTU-15 and the tenant lease space at 3450 MBH.


9) 1/M3.1              The total load on the gas meter is 9,706 MBH (2 locations).


10) When the above comments have been addressed, please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised plumbing pages to include clouded changes, engineers stamp and signature. RE-SUBMITTALS ARE TO BE DIRECTED TO THE ATTENTION OF THE PERMIT MANAGER WITH A LETTER OF RESPONSE ADDRESSING EACH COMMENT.   (23.10.104.8.1)
