1) STATUS: 9-09-2016 Comments to be addressed.
2) The following comments based upon the 2012 International Building Code (IBC) must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the IBC or any federal, state or local regulations.
3) A1.0 The construction type for the tower portion of the "Dimond Center Mall" is "!-A". Please revise.
4) A2.0 Wall type "C" requires top of wall slip joints. Please clarify.
5) 4/A2.0 Note #4, horizontal grab bars are to be mounted 33" to 36" AFF to the top of the gripping surface (not centerline). (ICC/ANSI A117.1-609.4.1)
6) 3/A2.1 Structural columns within Type "I-A" construction have a required 3-hour protection. Please clarify and indicate that any damage to that protection must be repaired.
7) 5/A5.1 Provide structural and seismic calculations plus fastening details for the overhead coiling door to include engineers stamp and signature, for structural review on a deferred submittal basis.
8) 6/A5.1 Provide a deferred submittal for the store front glazing design/installation.
9) When the above comments have been addressed, please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised architectural pages to include clouded changes, architects stamp and signature. RE-SUBMITTALS ARE TO BE DIRECTED TO THE ATTENTION OF THE PERMIT MANAGER WITH A LETTER OF RESPONSE ADDRESSING EACH COMMENT. (23.10.104.8.1)
