1.  The
following comments based on the 2014 National Electrical Code (NEC) must be
resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications
does not permit the violation of any section of the NEC or any federal, state
or local regulations.



 



2. AMPERAGE INTERRUPTING
AMPACITY:



Sheet 3 of 3 (Panel Schedule AIC). The AIC calculation
on both panels shown to be 18,000 Amps. Please provide detail AIC calculation
for any panel has AIC rating higher than 10,000A.



 



3.  CIRCUIT DIRECTORY OR CIRCUIT INDENTIFICATION
ON FLOOR PLAN & PANEL SCHEDULES:



Sheet 3 of 3 (Panel
Schedules and Floor Plans Circuit Identifications). Panel schedules have many
circuits named head bolt heater receptacle. Please note that these circuits
should be individually identified with their locations on floor plans and on
the panel schedules according to NEC 408.4 for circuit identifications.



 



4.  AVAILABLE FAULT CURRENT:



Sheet 3 of 3 (Field Marking -
Available Fault Current). NEC Section 110.24 requires that service equipment be
legibly marked in the field with the maximum available fault current. The field
markings shall include the date the fault current calculation was performed.
The marking shall have sufficient durability to withstand the environment
involved. The marking of the available fault current shall be on the service
equipment and on every panel since panels are located on their individual units



 



5.  EXISTING
SERVICE LOAD CALCULATIONS:

Sheet 3 of 3. There are additional panel added. The plans have no calculations
for feeder loads for existing system. Provide service load calculation as
required per NEC Section 220.87.     



 



6.  When
the above comments have been addressed, please update the electrical plans at
the MOA



Plans Review Office with three (3) sets of
revised electrical pages to include clouded changes, electrical engineers stamp
and signature.
