Indicate on the plan the size (rating) & type of fire extinguisher.

8/12/16 - Resolved. 2A:10BC FE provided at cash wrap within 75 ft. travel distance // PANILO

Clarify both the swing & hardware for exit door #5. Sheet A1& A6 shows door swinging inward. Door is required to swing outward in the direction of egress. Sheet A3A, detail 4, shows the door with panic hardware on the stockroom side. Panic hardware will not function if installed as shown on an inward swinging door. Revise plans. Also verify that the door when swinging into the service corridor does not encroach into the required egress width during the swing or when fully open.

8/12/16 - Resolved. Revised egress to address exiting through stock room area; Door 5 recessed into alcove to ensure door does not encroach into required egress width of back corridor; door swing adjusted accordingly for panic hardware // PANILO

Egress through the stock room (Intervening room) shall meet IBC 1014.2, particularly exception 2 -2.4 requiring a demarcated aisle defined by partial height fixed walls. the intent of this is to insure the aisle remains unobstructed by stock. Your design does not meet this. It appears that the stock room is too small to provide the required access way and function as a stock room. Without the demarcated aisle it is expected that stock will end of obstruction the way to the exit. What is the travel distance to the exit using the corridor? It may exceed the allowable distance. Please comment & show distance meets IBC 402.

8/12/16 - Resolved. Egress resolved by creating an alcove separating the stock room area from the exit path // PANILO
