7-25-16   I am approving the installation of the earth
anchors for these structures with the understanding that there will be a pull
test performed for this site and the information provided to me for review on a
deferred submittal of the pull test to assure that the loads are achieved based
on this sites soils.

Each site will not
have the same soils, therefore a pull test for each installation on a specific site
is required, and the Gladys Woods information is not valid here.

The wind
calculations that were provided are based on the ASCE 7-05 and it just so
happens that this building must be in the same wind speed as Gladys Woods; this
is not the current code and the future building installation maybe in a
different wind speed.  The current
adopted code is the ASCE 7-10 and there is a new wind speed map.  I will approve the wind calculations for this
building, but on future installations, the wind calculations need to be revised
based on the current code and the current wind maps.
