1.  The following comments based upon the 2009 International Building Code (IBC) must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the IBC or any federal, state or local regulations. 

 

2.  CODE ANALYSIS:

Sheet T0.1. Please address the following:

a. The code analysis references building construction type as II-B, it is I-A.

b. The code analysis references the NEC edition as 2008. The adopted NEC code edition is 2011.

c. The code analysis references the accessibility code ICC/ANSI A117.1 as 2009.The adopted code is the 2003; however, 2009 can be used.

 

3.  DEFLECTION TRACKING:

Sheet A2.1. The wall detail #2 shows the rated wall. Please show the rated assembly for the deflection tracking at the top of the new non-bearing fire-resistance rated wall

 

4. When the above comments have been addressed, please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised architectural pages to include clouded changes, engineers stamp and signature.
