1. The following comments based upon the 2009 International Building Code (IBC) must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the IBC or any federal, state or local regulations.
ADA SHOWER:
2. Sheet A2.1 Please show the shower (109) to be ADA accessible or show exception in code study.
3. DOORS HARDWARE TYPE:
Sheets A1.2 and A8 (Door Table - Door Hardware Type). The door table shows the hardware types as
1-15. Please clarify the what the numbers means.
4. PARTITION TYPES:
Sheet A2.2 (Partition Type 3) Please show cross section details of partition type 3 like you showed details of partition types 1 and 2. Also show the Partition height.
5. FIRE RATED PARTITION WALLS AND CEILING:
Sheet A3 (Reflected Ceiling Plan – Fire Rated Partition Walls). Provide details wall section and assembly types of the two fire rated partition and their height and show details of the 1-hr fire rated suspended ceiling
6. DEFLECTING TRACKING:
Please show on the plans the deflecting tracking and the location.
7. When the above comments have been addressed, please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised architectural pages to include clouded changes, engineers stamp and signature.
