1.  The following comments based upon the 2009 International Building Code (IBC) must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the IBC or any federal, state or local regulations. 

2.  CODE REVIEW (CONSTRUCTION TYPE):

Sheet T1. The code review states the construction type is II-B. Please note that the construction type of the Dimond Center tower is 1-A. Please correct the construction type on the plan.

3.  FIRE RATED CONSTRUCITON:

Sheet A2 (“2” Partition Types - Fire Rated Partition Walls and Ceiling). Since the type of construction is

1-A and sheet A2 shows new suspended ceiling and metal studs attached to structure. Provide details on brace connection and how the individual structure member fire protection would be maintained.   

4. When the above comments have been addressed, please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised architectural pages to include clouded changes, engineers stamp and signature.
