2ND REVIEW COMMENT 1/25/16- Thank you for your response regarding sprinkler. As this building is currently undergoing a fire alarm upgrade, please revise plans to indicate fire alarm devices to be installed as required to meet upgrade by licensed fire protection contractor; to be coordinated with Mall Management. Permit to be obtained as/if required. IFC 105.4.2.1

Code study Sht. A1.0 indicates no sprinkler modification s to be made; Sht. A3.0 notes sprinkler coverage to confirm and submitted under separate cover for review and permit. Sprinkler & fire alarm separate deferred permit submittals with plans by fire protection contractors and not approved under this permit. Ensure sprinklers evaluated to be adequate coverage based upon commodity class. Provide documentation of same to fire inspector at time of fire final inspection to receive Certificate of Occupancy. IFC 105.4.2.1
