1) STATUS: 11-23-15 Comments to be addressed.
2) The following comments based upon the 2009 International Building Code (IBC) must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the IBC or any federal, state or local regulations.
3) Provide structural and seismic calculations plus fastening details for the Overhead Roll-down Grilles 38 & 42/ID9.3 and the Soffits 26, 27 &35/ID9.2 to include engineers stamp and signature, for structural review on a deferred submittal basis.
4) CS Governing Codes The 2011 NEC is the National Electric Code not the National Energy Code.
5) 30/ID9.2 Type I kitchen hoods that penetrate the ceiling plus the attached grease duct shall be enclosed from the point of penetration to the outlet terminal. (IMC 507.10 & 506.3.10) Provide clarification.
6) ID9.2 Wood and plywood are not permitted in Type I construction per IBC 602.2.
7) When the above comments have been addressed please update the plans at the MOA Plans Review Office with three sets of revised architectural pages to include clouded changes, architects stamp and signature.
