Comments for the 8/20/15 submittal:
1.) The haul routes are provided on sheet C1 by narrative for review. The hours of operation will be from Mon. - Sun., 7am - 6pm. The emergency contact person is Hugh Ashlock - 907.344.2581. Submit traffic control plan for on site construction work and temporary ADA parking and routes, where required. The shortest, most direct route, which minimizes travel on local and collector roadways shall be used.
2.) The southwest entrance area between the planters may be misunderstood by a disabled person as being an ADA compliant access aisle where ADA access aisle are to be less than 2% in slope in all directions and free from obstructions. The provided not is helpful for anyone reviewing the plan set but does not assist disabled persons. Please provide alternate striping/marking to differentiate from the ADA access aisle striping to mitigate problems.
3.) This review shall be considered incomplete pending receipt and approval of the requested revisions or additional comments. 8/21/15 ~DF~
