The following comments based upon the 2009 Uniform Plumbing Code must be resolved before a permit is issued. The approval of plans and specifications does not permit the violation of any section of the Uniform Plumbing Code or any federal, state or local regulations.

M-01 & PD-04          "At all points where fuel gas piping enters or leaves the ground, there shall be installed, above ground, an approved or listed fuel gas piping connector, capable of absorbing a six-inch displacement, in any direction, due to frost heave action." (Local amendment to IFGC 404.17)     6-29-15 UNRESOLVED. SHEET M-01 HAS NOT BEEN MODIFIED WITH THE ADDITIONAL NOTE.

The installation of a medium pressure gas system (2psig or 5psig) within a building must be pre-approved by the local gas utility and shall be welded. (Local amendment to IFGC 417.0)       6-29-15 UNRESOLVED. THE PLAN SHOWS 2PSIG GAS SERVICE INTO THE BUILDING AND NOTE N3 STATES ONLY THAT GAS PRESSURES OF 5PSIG OR GREATER ARE NOT PERMITTED WITHIN A BUILDING.

1/M-04 & 1/M-07           The floor drain P-traps are required to be vented per UPC 901.1.

2/M-04         Specify the type of backflow preventer. (UPC 603)

2/M-04         Lavatory L-1 requires an ASSE 1070 point of use mixing valve per UPC 413.1.      6-29-15 UNRESOLVED. THE PLUMBING FIXTURE SCHEDULE  ON MG-02 DID NOT INDICATE AN ASSE 1070 POINT OF USE MIXING VALVE.

1/M-07        Waste lines and storm drainage piping exiting a building footprint are required to have cleanouts within 2 feet of the building exterior (UPC 1101.12.1 and local amendment to 719.1).     6-29-15 UNRESOLVED. THE CLEANOUT SCALES AT 5 FETT OUTSIDE THE BUILDING.
